PrivacyPolicy.
This Privacy Policy explains how Trackgleam Inc. ("Trackgleam", "we", "us"), a Delaware C-Corp based in Detroit, Michigan, handles personal information when you use trackgleam.org and the Trackgleam app. For a shorter summary, see Your data.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: email address and a hashed password, or the details your sign-in provider shares with us.
- Artist and release information: everything you enter about yourself and your music, and the edits you make to your kit.
- Messages: what you send through our contact, help, and careers forms, or by email.
- Billing: your plan and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
Information collected automatically
- Basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, kept in server logs for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
- Essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not use advertising trackers, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.
How we use information
- To create, store, and export your release kits, covers, and radio intros.
- To run your account, process payments, and enforce plan limits.
- To answer support requests and messages.
- To protect the service against abuse, including rate limiting.
- To send service emails about your account. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
We do not use your releases, kits, or covers to train our own models, and we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Model providers
When you generate a kit, the relevant inputs are sent from our servers to the AI provider configured for that step: OpenAI or Anthropic for writing, OpenAI for cover images, and ElevenLabs for an optional narrated intro. They process the data to return a result under their API terms; OpenAI and Anthropic do not use API inputs to train their models by default. Inputs typed into the public demo are processed the same way and are not tied to an account.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run Trackgleam, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Hosting, database, and file storage providers.
- AI model providers, as described above.
- Stripe, for payments.
- An email delivery provider, for account and support emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and release data while your account is open. You can export everything as JSON or delete releases or your whole account from Settings at any time; deletion removes the data from our database and storage, and encrypted backups roll off within 30 days. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, have these rights by law, and we honor them for everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them. Email privacy@trackgleam.org and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
We use encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, server-side access checks, and server-only model calls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it. Details are on our Security page.
Children
Trackgleam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission, especially before subscribing to a paid plan.
International users
We are a US company and process data in the United States. By using Trackgleam, you understand your information will be processed there.
Changes
If we make a material change, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users by email or in the app before it takes effect.
