Short answers to what artists ask most. If yours is not here, open a ticket below and a person replies within one business day, Eastern time.

Getting started

What do I need before I start a kit?

The song title, genre, mood, a few sentences about what the song is about, the artists that influenced it, and the release date. For your profile: your artist name, city, a short story of how you got here, your links, and a description of your visual world. Ten minutes covers it.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. The demo on the homepage writes a sample kit without an account. To save a kit, edit it, and export it, create a free account.

How do I add my real milestones?

In your artist profile, under milestones, list things that actually happened: a playlist add, a show, a radio spin, a sync. Trackgleam only mentions what is listed there, so be precise.

Release kit copy

How do I edit or regenerate one piece?

Open the kit and pick the tab. Click any text to edit it in place; it saves as you type. Use Regenerate on that tab to rewrite only that piece. The rest of the kit stays exactly as it was.

Why did the press release leave something out?

If a fact was not in your inputs, the facts check removes it. That includes numbers, awards, quotes, collaborators, and dates. Add the fact to your profile or release, then regenerate the piece.

Can Trackgleam send my pitches?

No, by design. Copy the pitch, paste it into your own email, add the curator's name, and send it yourself. We never mass-email anyone or send anything in your name.

What does "house writer" mean on a piece?

It means the piece was written by our template engine instead of a language model, because no model was available at that moment. It uses only your facts. Regenerate later for the model version.

Cover directions

How many cover directions do I get?

Free includes 1 watermarked direction. Artist and Label include 6 per release, exported clean at 3000 x 3000 pixels, the size most distributors ask for.

Why is there no text in the generated art?

Models misspell titles and smear letters. We keep the image text-free and set your title ourselves in real type, in the typeface you choose. Move and resize it in the cover studio, and check the thumbnail preview before you export.

One-sheet and radio intro

What is on the one-sheet PDF?

Your medium bio, the track facts, the cover, your links, and your contact, on one US Letter page. Free exports carry a small Trackgleam footer. Paid plans export clean.

The radio intro has no audio. Why?

The narrated version needs our voice service. When it is not available, you get the 20-second script as text, which a host can read on air. Check the status page if you expected audio.

Billing and your data

How do I cancel or change plans?

In Settings, choose a plan or cancel. Upgrades apply right away. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. All billing is in US dollars.

How do I export or delete everything?

In Settings, under your data. Export downloads every profile, release, and kit as one JSON file. Delete removes your account and its releases, kits, and covers from our database and file storage. It cannot be undone.
