We are 11 people building AI full time on Woodward Avenue. We work hybrid: in the office Tuesday through Thursday, from wherever you like the rest of the week. Every role is full time, and every salary band is listed in US dollars.

Role 01 / Engineering, reports to Julian

Founding Applied AI Engineer, language and image

Own the pipeline that turns an artist's answers into a release kit: the fact sheet, the per-outlet writing passes, the facts check, and the cover prompts with their hard exclusions.

$165,000 to $205,000 plus equity

The work

  • Design evaluations that catch an invented claim before an artist does
  • Keep the language layer model-agnostic across OpenAI and Anthropic, and the image model configurable
  • Make generation faster and cheaper without making it worse, with real numbers to show it

You

  • You have shipped language model features to real users and measured them
  • You care about structured output, schema validation, and failure modes more than demos
  • Bonus: you have worked with image models or you make music

Role 02 / Engineering, reports to Julian

Senior Product Engineer, web

Build the app artists live in for a release: the profile, the kit tabs with edit and regenerate, the cover studio, and the exports, in Next.js and TypeScript.

$150,000 to $185,000 plus equity
Where
Detroit, hybrid

The work

  • Turn streamed, validated model output into a calm, fast editing experience
  • Own the cover studio: type overlay, thumbnail preview, and the 3000 x 3000 export
  • Keep plan limits enforced on the server and accounts secure

You

  • Several years building production web apps with React and TypeScript
  • You sweat interaction details and accessibility, and you write tests for the parts that matter
  • You like talking to the people who use what you build

Role 03 / Go to market, reports to Simone

Artist Partnerships Lead (Detroit)

Be the person Detroit artists, managers, and small labels know at Trackgleam. Bring their feedback into the product and help them get real releases out.

$95,000 to $120,000 plus equity
Where
Detroit, hybrid

The work

  • Run listening sessions and release clinics with local artists and collectives
  • Build relationships with small labels and managers who could use the Label plan
  • Read hundreds of kits and tell us exactly where the copy sounds wrong

You

  • You have worked in artist development, music PR, management, or at a distributor
  • You know how a curator pitch should read, and how it should not
  • You live in or near Detroit and want to be in the room
